For the Italian Centre for Aerospace Research (CIRA) DTM performed a technological research for Unmanned Space Vehicle program (USV). On the left DTM rendering of the baseline aerodynamic solution. This is the starting point for the structural and modal analysis (below left, a detail of a NASTRAN output) that allowed DTM to optimise the composite lamination. A moke-up has been subsequently manufactured showing the capabilities of the technology proposed by DTM.
