Space - Satellites structures
Prisma satellite
ASI Program - Prime Contractor OHB Italia
For the Prisma Earth observation satellite DTM realized the primary and secondary structures as well as the SIR (satellite interface ring) with OHB Italia as prime contractor. DTM also realized the baffle for the Prisma optical instrument for Leonardo.

Agile BUS
Prime Contractor Oerlikon Contraves
Since 2004 DTM is involved in the manufacturing, integration and testing of flight satellite parts. In particular DTM is responsible for the manufacturing of some of the mechanical parts of Agile BUS (Agile = Astro-rivelatore Gamma a Immagini LEggero). Agile is part of a scientific mission funded by the Italian Space Agency (ASI) entirely conceived and developed in Italy. AGILE is an equatorial near-circular orbit satellite at 550 Km of altitude mounting an instrument capable of detecting and monitoring gamma-ray sources within a large field of view.
